We are seeking a welcoming and professional Receptionist to join our team and provide exceptional guest service from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel, ensuring a warm and friendly reception.
Register and check-in guests, making sure all necessary information is obtained.
Handle guest check-outs efficiently, including processing payments and providing accurate receipts.
Respond to guest inquiries, providing information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
Manage reservations, including taking bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
Ensure the lobby area is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times.
Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or individual.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and handling mail.
Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and escalate to management if necessary.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with guest information.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a hotel setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of local attractions and services is a plus.
